How to Use the Shear Tool in Adobe InDesign

The Shear Tool can be used to warp frames and content by skewing them.
- Select the frame to be sheared.
- Go to the Toolbar, then click and hold on the Free Transform Tool to select the Shear Tool.
- Click and hold anywhere above, below, or at either side of the frame and drag. Tip: Holding down the Shift key while dragging will shear the frame in 45-degree increments.
