How to Add a Pull Quote to a Layout in Adobe InDesign

Creating a pull quote is really just a matter of creating a text frame and applying a text wrap to it.

  1. Create a text frame with the Type Tool, then enter and format the text for the quote.Pull Quote Text Frame
  2. Switch to the Selection Tool. Go to the Window menu and select Text Wrap.Text Wrap in Window Menu
  3. In the Text Wrap panel, click the Wrap Around Bounding Box button and set the desired offset. (Note: The offsets can be asymmetrical.)Text Wrap Panel
