How to Apply a Style Globally in Adobe Captivate
Consistent formatting of objects, such as captions and highlight boxes, cannot be understated when it comes to illustrating professionalism in modules. Fortunately, Captivate provides tools for easily achieving that consistency. In this example, a caption style will be changed globally.
- Select a caption, then go the Properties Inspector Style tab. Select a different Caption Type, or modify any properties you want, such as the font or alignment.

- A plus sign (+) will appear before the Style Name because the formatting has been modified.

- Click the Style Name menu and select Save changes to Existing Style.

- Look at other slides in the project to see that the change has taken effect.
