How to Save a Custom Theme in Microsoft PowerPoint

You can save custom themes to apply to future PowerPoint presentations. This makes it easy to give your presentations a consistent look and feel.

This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft PowerPoint: 2010, 2013, and 2016.

1. On the Design tab, in the Themes group, click the More drop-down arrow.
2. Select Save Current Theme.
3. In the Save Current Theme dialog box, name the theme by typing a file name in the File name field.
4. Click Save. The theme now appears in the Custom section of the theme gallery.
