How to Rename a Section in Microsoft PowerPoint

You can rename a section in your PowerPoint presentation in just a few easy steps.

This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft PowerPoint: 2010, 2013, and 2016.

  1. Right-click on the section name and select Rename Section from the context menu. Select Rename Section
  2. Enter a new name in the Section name field. Section Name Field
  3. Click Rename.
