How to Split the Worksheet Window in Microsoft Excel

When working in Excel, it can sometimes be helpful to split the worksheet in two, so that you can compare data within the sheet. To split the window in Excel follow these three easy steps.
This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft Excel: 2010, 2013, and 2016.
- Click where you want to split the window.

- On the View tab, in the Window group, select Split.

- You can now scroll through each window separately to easily view and compare data.
