How to Set Locale in Microsoft Excel

If you need your workbook to be available to an international audience, follow these steps for displaying data in a different international format in Excel.

This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft Excel: 2010, 2013, and 2016.

  1. From the Home tab, select Format in the Cells group and then select Format Cells. Format Cells
