Course Overview
Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM) is an interactive course for aspiring and practicing Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, consultants, Scrum Team members, and others involved in delivering products with Scrum. Through instructor-led learning, discussion, and team-based exercises, you will explore the principles and theory behind Professional Scrum, including empiricism, the Scrum Values, the Scrum framework, and the accountability of the Scrum Master.
Throughout the course, you will examine how Scrum helps teams navigate complexity, deliver value, and adapt as they learn. You will develop a stronger understanding of self-management, transparency, the Definition of Done, Product Backlog planning, and the leadership behaviors that enable effective Scrum Teams. By the end of the course, you will be better prepared to apply Scrum principles to real workplace situations, support your team and organization, and prepare for the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification.
