How to Pin a File to a Jump List in Windows 10

To ensure that a file always appears on a program's Jump List, you can pin that file. To pin an item to a Jump List in Windows 10, follow these three steps.

  1. While right-clicking the program in the taskbar, scroll over the item's pushpin icon.Pushpin Icon
  2. Click the pushpin icon.
  3. The item now appears in the Pinned section and will remain there until you unpin it.
