Course Overview

Getting Started with AI Development is for people who want to learn how to use AI to help build apps and websites, even if they do not have a programming background. The course introduces students to AI coding assistant tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot, while also showing how the same approach can be adapted to other agentic AI development tools.

Students will learn how to set up and work with AI coding assistants, ask for help effectively, review what the tools produce, and improve results through follow-up prompts. By the end of the course, students will have used AI to create and refine a simple webpage and will understand how to begin using AI tools more confidently in future app and website projects.
