Set Up for XML, XSLT, or XML Schema Training
Required Software
PC: Windows 10 or later or Mac: OS X Mountain Lion (version 10.8) or later.
XML Editor
To set up your computer for one of our XML classes, all you need is an XML Editor. We recommend one of the following:
- Visual Studio Code using the XML extension (Windows or Mac)
- XMLSpy Professional Edition (Windows only)
For performing XSLT transformations at the command line, we recommend installing saxon-js and xslt3. See Transforming XML with XSLT at the Command Line with saxon-js and xslt3 for instructions on how to do so.
