
Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (PL-600T00)
This course is designed for Senior Consultants (both functional and technical) that aspire to be Solution Architects, or current Solution Architects that are new to the role.
The Solution Architect is responsible for the successful design, implementation, deployment and adoption of an overall solution. The Solution Architect ensures that the solution meets the customer’s needs now and in the future. In this course, students will learn about decisions a Solution Architect makes during an implementation, covering security, integrations, Power Apps architecture, Power Automate architecture, and more.
- Describe the responsibilities and expectations of a solution architect for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform
- Discover and document customer needs through effective discovery sessions and communication strategies
- Propose solution designs by identifying components, creating demos, and evaluating third-party integrations
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions, capture functional and non-functional requirements, and perform fit-gap analysis
- Design a robust architecture aligned with platform limits, best practices, and great architecture pillars
- Implement project governance practices to keep projects on track and facilitate collaboration across teams
- Model data and security for Power Platform solutions, including Dataverse best practices and environment security
- Design and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Copilot Studio agents, and robotic process automation solutions
- Plan and execute application lifecycle management (ALM) using solutions, configuration data, and Azure DevOps
- Prepare for go-live by planning data migration, testing strategies, and ensuring a smooth deployment and transition
