Course Overview
This 3-hour workshop introduces participants to Claude Design, an Anthropic Labs product that lets users collaborate with Claude to create visual work like designs, prototypes, slides, and one-pagers through conversation. No design background is required. Participants will learn how to describe a visual outcome in plain language, watch Claude produce a first draft, and refine it through conversation, comments, and direct edits rather than starting from a blank canvas in a traditional design tool.
Claude Design is built for two audiences: experienced designers who want room to explore more directions than time normally allows, and people without a design background — founders, product managers, and marketers — who need to turn an idea into something visual quickly. The workshop addresses both: designers will learn how to use it for rapid exploration and prototyping, while non-designers will learn how to go from a rough idea to a shareable deliverable. Claude Design is currently available in research preview to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers, and the workshop assumes participants have access to one of these plans.
