Skillable Virtual Lab Connection Tips

If you are running into issues connecting to a Skillable lab (virtual machine) or it's running very slowly, check out the following tips to improve your connection:

  1. It's possible that a VPN or firewall is causing the issue. If you are able to use a personal device rather than work device, this could help solve the issue.
  2. Another thing that might help is adding https://webucator.learnondemand.net to your allowed cookies in your browser. The exact instructions for how to do this may vary by your browser / browser version. Below are instructions on how to do it with the latest versions of Chrome and Edge:

Chrome

  1. Go to your Cookie Settings in Chrome at chrome://settings/cookies.
  2. Under Sites allowed to use third-party cookies, click Add:

  3. Enter https://webucator.learnondemand.net and click Add:

Edge

  1. Go to your Cookie Settings in Edge at edge://settings/privacy/cookies.
  2. Under Customized cookies behavior, click Add site next to Allowed to save cookies:

  3. Enter https://webucator.learnondemand.net and check Include third-party cookies on this site and then click Add.
