Course Overview
This workshop is designed for project managers who want to use AI tools to plan more effectively, communicate more clearly, and spend less time on documentation. No technical background is required. Participants will learn how to apply AI to the work that fills a project manager's day: drafting project charters and status updates, summarizing meeting notes, building out work plans, and communicating with stakeholders and team members. The course is tool-agnostic and can be delivered using whichever AI platform your organization already uses, including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini. Examples throughout the course are drawn from real project management workflows.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to use AI tools with confidence across the project lifecycle. The workshop closes with a hands-on case study that walks through a realistic project scenario from initiation through communication. Case studies can be customized to reflect your organization's industry, project types, and delivery methods. This course is taught from a tool-usage perspective and does not cover project management methodology, certification preparation, or organizational governance. Participants should continue to rely on established PM frameworks and their organization's processes for those areas.
