Course Overview
This workshop is designed for legal professionals who want to use AI tools to handle routine tasks more efficiently. No technical background is required. Participants will learn how to apply AI to the kinds of work that fill a legal professional's day: reviewing and summarizing documents, drafting correspondence and internal communications, conducting preliminary research, and preparing materials for attorneys, clients, and stakeholders. The course is tool-agnostic and can be delivered using whichever AI platform your organization already uses, including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini. Examples throughout the course are drawn from common legal workflows.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to use AI tools with confidence in a legal work environment. The workshop closes with a hands-on case study that walks through a realistic legal scenario from start to finish. Case studies can be customized to reflect your organization's practice areas and workflows. This course is taught from a tool-usage perspective and does not cover legal compliance requirements, regulatory guidance, or legal subject-matter expertise. Participants should continue to rely on qualified legal professionals for all substantive legal guidance.
