How to Use Aero Snap in Windows 7

Aero Snap in Windows 7 allows you to quickly maximize or minimize an open window. To use Aero Snap to maximize a window, follow these four steps.

  1. Click the title bar of the open window.

  2. Drag it to the top of the desktop, and note that the outline of that window now fills the entire screen.

  3. Release the mouse button to maximize the window.

  4. To return the window to its previous size, click and drag the title bar away from the top of the desktop.
