How to Set Tracking Options in Microsoft Excel

It's easy to set tracking options in Excel. Just follow these three steps.

This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft Excel: 2010, 2013, and 2016.

  1. Select the Review tab, and from the Changes group, select Share Workbook.

  2. On the Editing tab of the dialog box, check the Allow changes by more than one user at the same time check box.

  3. Select the Advanced tab, and set tracking options and click OK.
