How to Pin a File to a Jump List in Windows 7
To ensure that a file always appears on a program's Jump List, you can pin that file. To pin an item to a Jump List in Windows 7, follow these four steps.
- Select the Windows Start button, point to the program, and locate the item on the Jump List you want to pin. Or if working from the taskbar, right-click the program and scroll to the Jump List of recently accessed items.
- Scroll over the item's pushpin icon.
- Click the pushpin icon.
- The item now appears in the Pinned section and will remain there until you unpin it.
