How to Open a Jump List from the Taskbar in Windows 7

Jump Lists allow you to quickly go right to a document, such as a PowerPoint file or a Word document, or a photo, song, or even a website. Jump Lists also provide easy access to some common Windows tasks, such as opening a new tab in a browser or creating an email message. To open a Jump List from the taskbar in Windows 7, follow these three steps.

  1. Right-click the program in the taskbar.
