How to Open a Jump List from the Start Menu in Windows 7
Jump Lists allow you to quickly go right to a document, such as a PowerPoint file or a Word document, or a photo, song, or even a website. Jump Lists also provide easy access to some common Windows tasks, such as opening a new tab in a browser or creating an email message. To open a Jump List from the Start menu in Windows 7, follow these three steps.
- Select the Windows Start button.
- Scroll to and hover your cursor over the program's Jump List you want to access.
- On the right, in the program's Jump List, click the item you want to open.
