How to Name a Cell in Microsoft Excel
It's easy to name a single cell in Microsoft Excel.
This feature works the same in all modern versions of Microsoft Excel: 2010, 2013, and 2016.
- Select the cell you wish to name.
- In the Name Box (to the left of the formula bar), type the name.

- Press Enter.
