How to Create an Image Mask in Adobe Captivate
What if you've recorded a simulation or demo but there's a user name visible that shouldn't be made public? No worries! You can create a highlight box to mask it and then merge the box into the background.
- Go to the Toolbar, click the Objects menu and select Highlight Box.
- Size and position the box to match the area you want to cover.
- In the Properties Inspector Style tab, set the Fill to match the color in the slide and the Opacity to 100%. Set the Stroke Width to 0.
- Keep the Highlight Box selected and go to the Modify menu. Select Merge with the background.
