How to Change the Header and Footer in a QuickBooks Report

Many QuickBooks report settings can be modified directly in the report window after you run the report. To modify a report's header and footer, follow these four simple steps.

This feature works the same in versions 2011–2016 of QuickBooks.
  1. From the report window, click Customize Report.

  2. In the Modify Report dialog box, select the Header/Footer tab.
    Modify Report Dialog Box

  3. Modify the desired settings.
    Modify Report Dialog Box

  4. When you finish, click OK. The report now displays with the modified settings. (Settings will not be saved unless the report is memorized.)
