How to Add Callouts in Adobe Captivate

Almost any SmartShape can hold text. You simply draw the shape and start typing. Some SmartShapes are specifically intended to to hold text, such as callouts.

  1. Go to Toolbar and click the Shapes menu. Choose one the Callout shapes.

  2. Draw out the shape on the slide and then double-click inside it and type the caption.
  3. There's a little yellow square at the of the callout's tail that you can use to change the direction.
  4. Fill and stroke colors can be changed in the Properties Inspector Style tab.
