Overview

This Introduction to QuickBooks 2016 training class covers the fundamentals of using QuickBooks 2016. This class will be conducted using a current version of QuickBooks. Your instructor will point out the minor differences between versions where they exist. For our custom instructor-led online and onsite classes, we use the version of the software you use in your office.

Note: This class is geared for PC users only. Mac versions of the software are not supported in the training.

Note: This class is not appropriate for users of QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise.

Note: This course uses the U.S. version of QuickBooks, which applies U.S. tax laws.

Goals
  1. Learn to navigate the QuickBooks workspace and become comfortable with using shortcuts, menus, and icons.
  2. Learn to start, backup, and restore company files.
  3. Learn how to add new accounts.
  4. Learn how to create new customers, vendors, service items, and inventory items.
  5. Learn about forms.
  6. Learn how to enter sales receipts, invoices, and credit memos.
  7. Learn how to enter credit card transactions.
