Webucator Awards 2018-19 Computer Science Scholarship

For the fourth consecutive year, Webucator had many applicants for our Computer Science Scholarship, which we award to an outstanding student who shows potential for leadership in the field of Computer Science. This year’s winner, Sabrina Zeleke, is a student at Calvin College.

Sebrina grew up in Ethiopia and hopes “to become an accomplished Computer Scientist who can advance the state of technology in my country, and throughout Africa.” In a letter of recommendation for Sebrina, one of her professors said Sebrina “is a young woman who will go far with her skills, work ethic, and determination.”

Sebrina, congratulations! You are the 2018-2019 recipient of Webucator’s $1,000 Computer Science Scholarship! We wish you the best of luck in accomplishing the lofty goals you have for yourself!

Webucator’s Computer Science Scholarship is awarded annually. The deadline to apply for the 2019-2020 academic year is March 31, 2019.
