Webucator Announces Scholarship for Computer Science Students

We’re excited to announce our new scholarship program, open to students currently studying Computer Science at any college or university.

Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students who show the greatest potential for leadership in the field of computer science. Our scholarships are not limited to students who plan to go into the field of computer science, but are open to all students who study computer science with the intention of using the knowledge gained to provide leadership in their chosen field.

We will award one $1,000 scholarship in the 2015-2016 academic year. The award will be paid through the Financial Aid & Scholarships departments of the winner’s college or university. We will announce the scholarship recipient during the week of June 15th, 2015.

“We are excited to announce our support for students studying Computer Science.” said Dave Dunn, Webucator’s CEO. “We hope this scholarship plays a small piece of addressing the larger puzzle of preparing our future workforce by getting more students to study Computer Science.”
