Class Setup Policy
Welcome to our resource page for participating in our Instructor-led Online training.
Most Instructor-led Online classes run from 10am to 5pm Eastern Time using WebEx. There is a lunch break around 1pm ET in addition to short breaks in the morning and afternoon.
You will receive one or more shipments prior to class containing your course materials and computer headset* with microphone for use in class.
*The headset is only included with the first class you take with Webucator.
You are required to set up your computer before class begins. This involves checking to make sure your headset's speakers and microphone work correctly, that you have the necessary software to participate in the classroom, and installing all the software needed for class on your computer.
The number one complaint we receive is that other students were not adequately prepared for class. If you do not take the necessary steps to prepare your computer correctly for class, you waive your rights to our money-back guarantee.
Once registered, you will receive emails from Webucator with information about your class(es). Please be sure that your email client does not block or filter emails from webucator.com.
If you do not receive confirmations in email from us, please check your spam filter.
We have tried to make our instructions for setup as concise and easy to follow as possible. Depending on your class and on your IT environment, setup can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours. In some cases, you may need assistance from an IT administrator in your organization.
Our setup instructions should be followed carefully. After setting up your microphone, you will be asked to confirm you've completed the setup process. Until you do so, you may receive reminders by email every morning.
We do offer technical support. However, please note, Webucator cannot offer support if you choose to configure your computer in a different way than we recommend in our instructions.
